When I placed my Old Navy order for the blazer and jacket (which I both love and can’t wait to wear once it gets cooler); I didn’t notice I had another item in my shopping cart – a pair of shoes. I honestly don’t know how I could have overlooked it or not noticed the total (clearly, I’ve got baby brain hah) but I’m happy about my accidental purchase!
I ordered these previously in another color (tan/beige) but they were pretty snug in my regular size. I don’t understand why ON shoes aren’t offered in 1/2 sizes – is that too much to ask? I was really bummed because they were cute but, from my experience, ON shoes tend to be a hit or miss size wise. I would have exchanged them for the next size up but my local Old Navy store didn’t even have them in stock yet (wtf is that about?) so I sent them back. Anyway, I’m glad I was able to re-order them because now they are perfect! They’re now sold out and no longer listed on the website – go figure.
If you’re looking for a pair of cute and inexpensive sandals these would be a great purchase. And they’re comfortable, too! If you can find them in stores, I believe they’re only $29.95. :)

Btw and FYI, these Old Navy sandals are quite similar (ok they’re pretty much a direct copy hah) of the Seychelles Surprise Ending Sandals at a lower price point! ;) Though, I do love the Mint Green version of the Seychelles sandals…
I love shoes and my shoe shopping doesn’t stop with my personal collection, it extends to the husband and now, our son. I’ve already begun to spoil my little prince and he’s not even here yet! ;) I’ve purchased 4 pairs of shoes for our little guy since we found out we were having a boy, and they all range from size 3-6. I’d get him smaller sizes but I feel he’ll get more use out of the bigger sizes since he’ll be walking/running in them.
Mama Bargains had a great deal today on Squeaker Shoes for toddlers so I ordered two pairs today!
Aren’t they adorable? The first one is called Jason (which coincidentally is the husband’s name, hah) and the second pair is called Drew. Both were only $13 each which is a great deal considering they’re normally $32 each. Definitely a great bargain! Our little prince won’t be able to wear these for a while as I got the first one in a size 8 and the second in a size 7 but, at least he’ll have cute shoes to look forward to wearing hehe.
Btw, if you haven’t ever shopped through Mama Bargains, I can assure you the site is legit. I haven’t had a problem with any of my orders and they ship pretty quick. And no, I’m not getting compensated for that statement, it’s just my opinion! :)
I can’t even begin to tell you how many pairs of flat sandals I have in my shoe closet but that doesn’t prevent me from getting more! ;) I spotted these on the Forever 21 website today and had to snap them up because I don’t have anything that looks remotely like it.
I got both shades, Nude and Tan, of course because (I’m crazy like that) they’re such versatile shades that will go with anything from jeans, to skirts, shorts and dresses. I’m hoping they’re as cute in person as they are online. I looked for them in the store but either they didn’t have them out yet or they’ve already sold out of them (not likely). Either way I’m looking forward to receiving them and wearing both throughout the Summer season. :)
