Day 07 : Favorite eye shadow color.

How could one possibly choose just ONE eye shadow color? There are so many fabulous shades that I love and use often, each one is my favorite!  As you may know by now, I’m not the type to pile on electric blue eye shadow (unless it’s for Halloween!) or anything too crazy. I stick to what looks fresh, natural and best on me.   My favorite eye shadow color range would have to be, neutrals.   I love neutrals but if I do use bright colors, I sheer them out tremendously.

So, I’m going to break the rules a little… My favorite neutral eye shadow colors are as follows:

MAC Satin Taupe eye shadow
MAC French Grey eye shadow
MAC Seedling eye shadow
MAC Smoke & Diamonds eye shadow
MAC Innuendo eye shadow
Coastal Scents 28 Neutral Palette (pretty much all the shades in the palette!)

I believe all but one of the MAC eye shadow shades are limited edition so I hope to find dupes for them when I hit pan! :P

Day 06 : Do you like/wear false eye lashes? (If so, strip or individual?)

Not too often. I only break them out for really special occasions (weddings, parties and what not).  I don’t feel it’s very practical to wear them every day.  I’m mean I’m not going to put on a full face of makeup when my plans consist of going grocery shopping or the mall haha.  When I do wear them, I prefer the more natural looking strip lashes; nothing too off the wall or dramatic.

For instance last Halloween, we were on a cruise and there was a costume party. I chose to wear some dramatic yet tasteful false eye lashes that complimented my costume.  They were fun and looked great but they started to annoy me towards the end of the night.

Day 05 : Favorite lipstick, lipgloss and liner.

I’m a creature of habit. Once I find a product that works for me, I tend to stick to it until I come across something that blows it out of the water.  When it comes to lip products, I don’t stray from my tried and true favorites (even though I like to try out/buy new ones haha)…

MAC Bare Slimshine lipstick
MAC Spring Bean Lustreglass
MAC Bingo! Plushglass

That’s pretty much it. Don’t be mistaken though, I have loads of lovely lip glosses and lipsticks but I always seem to reach for the same ones over and over. :)  Oh and I don’t use lip liner all too often so I left it out of the photo.  As an aside, MAC’s Plushglass is my favorite formulation of lip gloss from their line. It’s not as sticky/tacky as their regular lipglasses. I do wish they made more shades in this range!
