I thought I’d add this little feature to the site; Polish of the Week or POTW! I get or give myself a manicure and pedicure every other week due to the fact that my nails grow like weeds! And it’s not just because I’m currently pregnant, they’ve always grown fast. Just lucky I guess, heh. ;)
Anyway, I thought I’d have a little fun with this week’s shade and combined two of my favorites…
Show above is China Glaze Tinsel (which is a holiday color) and OPI Moon of Mumbai which was part of their India Collection from last year I think? Tinsel is your basic clear nail polish with loads of silver glitter. What I love about it is, it’s not chunky or gritty in any way. It’s actually similar to OPI Happy Anniversary (which I also have) but it’s sheer. Moon of Mumbai is a pale light gray shade that’s unexpected. My only caveat with this shade is, if you want to wear it alone, you will need at least 3 coats as it’s a bit sheer.
As always I finished it off with Seche Vite top coat. I’m sure you’re all well aware of what that bottle looks like. Speaking of, I’m about half-way through it and it’s getting a bit goopy. Going to need a new bottle soon!
I love shoes and my shoe shopping doesn’t stop with my personal collection, it extends to the husband and now, our son. I’ve already begun to spoil my little prince and he’s not even here yet! ;) I’ve purchased 4 pairs of shoes for our little guy since we found out we were having a boy, and they all range from size 3-6. I’d get him smaller sizes but I feel he’ll get more use out of the bigger sizes since he’ll be walking/running in them.
Mama Bargains had a great deal today on Squeaker Shoes for toddlers so I ordered two pairs today!
Aren’t they adorable? The first one is called Jason (which coincidentally is the husband’s name, hah) and the second pair is called Drew. Both were only $13 each which is a great deal considering they’re normally $32 each. Definitely a great bargain! Our little prince won’t be able to wear these for a while as I got the first one in a size 8 and the second in a size 7 but, at least he’ll have cute shoes to look forward to wearing hehe.
Btw, if you haven’t ever shopped through Mama Bargains, I can assure you the site is legit. I haven’t had a problem with any of my orders and they ship pretty quick. And no, I’m not getting compensated for that statement, it’s just my opinion! :)
I don’t know about you all but I love Victoria’s Secret! I don’t go anywhere else for my bras. For underwear I also love VS but if I spot a cute style or pattern elsewhere I don’t discriminate hah. Since VS is having a sale, I thought I’d scope out what they had as far as their skin care products.
I only use (unscented) Aveeno lotion but I love body splashes and body scrubs so I was thrilled to see the Naturally Victoria’s Secret line up for grabs. I love this line because it’s not obnoxious or overpowering like their Secret Garden and other beauty lines. Everything smells clean and fresh.
I picked up the following because the prices were too good to pass up!
Some were on clearance for $8.99 while the rest were 3/$33! Great deals all around. I also had a gift card to use and free shipping so I definitely scored. :)
