I really(!) thought my ‘last bag purchase of the year‘ was the Tokidoki Carezza bag I previously posted but nope, that wasn’t the case. I just happened to check my email today and there was an email from the Rebecca Minkoff site. Something about a sale and all bags were 50% off now until New Years Eve. Say what?! That was even better than the Black Friday 40% off sale!
Of course, being the crazed handbag fanatic that I truly am, I immediately clicked over to the site and sure enough, the sale was going on. Initially I wanted the Clutch in Noir (black) but that was completely sold out. So, I began browsing through the Morning After Bag selection. To my surprise and delight, a MAB in Double Cream was available! I was able to add it to my shopping cart and check out.
At first, I thought my order didn’t go through as it said “Out of Stock” right after I added it to my cart but after I checked out, I received an confirmation email & my debit card was charged. Woo hoo! That’s definitely a better experience than last time!
Here’s what the Morning After Bag looks like in ‘Double Cream‘…
She’s lovely, isn’t she? ;) Since I sold my white Michael Kors Astor Satchel (on eBay) this summer, I didn’t have any white or cream bags in my collection. Now I do! This is such a great shade as it’ll work as a ‘winter white’ to use during Fall/Winter and also as a light coloured bag for Spring/Summer. Gotta love the versatility in this piece! I’m thrilled (and lucky!) to be able to get another fantastic bag at such a great price! So now I have TWO Morning After Bags in my collection. Merry Christmas to me, again. Hahaha. :P

Every time I say I’m not going to purchase any more handbags (for this year, that is lol), I always end up doing the complete opposite. I couldn’t help myself. Really, I swear! And of course, Karmaloop had to tempt me further by offering a coupon code and free shipping! That’s just mean, don’tcha think? ;)
So last week, Tuesday specifically, I went ahead and ordered the Tokidoki bag I’ve been eyeing for a couple months now. It’s the Carezza bag in the Celebrazione print. They had a couple different prints (Eco something and Carbone) but I thought this was the cutest one.
 
I’m not sure what attacted me to this bag but everytime I’d browse the site (for things to post on GGG) I’d always come back to it. There’s also a bigger version of this tote, but after looking at the photos on Karmaloop’s site it looked way too big; almost like an overnight or travel bag haha. I was torn between this and the Graziosa Small Messenger but I already have a ‘cutesy’ messenger bag from the Harajuku Lovers line, I didn’t need two. :P I hope this bag is as cute as it looks online! It should arrive on Christmas Eve, can’t wait!

I should get this order tomorrow (will take pix this weekend, promise! lol). Have to say, I haven’t liked any of MAC’s new collections really. Don’t need any more make up but it’s always fun to have new shades hehe. Anyway, I’m hope next year they’ll have better offerings. I know quite a few people who are on pins and needles, anticipating the Hello Kitty collab scheduled for February haha. :P
